Upbeat, focused and dedicated, Dr. Thomas Boyd is well versed on the latest scientific cancer breakthroughs. With more than 30 years of experience in oncology, he believes centering care around the individual needs of the patient provides the most effective treatment.

An active member in the American Society of Clinical Oncology, Dr. Boyd is a recipient of the ASCO Community Clinical Research Award. He’s served on research committees for US Oncology Network and has authored numerous papers on various aspects of oncology for publications, including The Lancet, Blood and Journal of Clinical Oncology.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Boyd enjoys sea kayaking, fishing and running. He and his wife also spend time hiking, biking, backpacking and visiting their grown children in Washington and New York City.
