The transition of relocating our physicians, staff and services from our RiverBend clinic in Springfield to our Country Club Road location in Eugene will conclude in early December.
Earlier this year, we completed an 8,000-square-foot expansion and renovation of our clinic on Country Club Road, making room for the consolidation of staff and services.
On Monday, Dec. 4, 2017, Drs. Thomas Boyd, James Butrynski, John Fitzharris and Matthew Lonergan and nurse practitioner Erik Cooper will begin seeing patients at our Country Club clinic.
This final step in our relocation process will provide even better care and added convenience to patients by housing all of our services under one roof. Our RIverBend clinic will also close on Dec. 4.
Benefits of the expansion and renovation
There are many advantages to having all clinical services under one roof. Most importantly, it allows us to deliver the quality of care our patients deserve.
A lighter, brighter design and more efficient flow throughout the building improves the care experience. We now have 33 exam rooms, including new procedure rooms, a larger pharmacy and a more efficient chemotherapy area, with more chairs available than both facilities, combined. The larger lab on the first floor enables us to do more tests in less time for faster results. And with our research physicians and staff together in one facility, patients have easier access to all clinical trials.
