The 8,000-square-foot expansion and renovation of Willamette Valley Cancer Institute’s Country Club road clinic is nearing completion. Plans are now underway to relocate services currently offered at our RiverBend clinic to our Country Club location.

The first department to make the move is Gynecological Oncology services. Our Gyn Onc department will begin seeing patients at Country Club on Monday, May 22, 2017.

What can patients expect?
When patients arrive at Country Club, they will check in at our new registration area, which is located to the left after coming through the main entrance. If lab services are needed, patients will be directed to our new, larger lab located on the first floor, to the right of check-in. Patients will then be directed down the hall to our new gynecological oncology suite. The new suite features a waiting room, where patients will see the familiar faces of our staff. As always, future appointments will be scheduled before patients leave.

Patients receiving chemotherapy treatment or other infusions will be directed to the infusion room on the second floor.

We ask for your continued patience as our staff settles into their new home.

Benefits of the expansion and renovation
There are many advantages to having all clinical services under one roof. Most importantly, it allows us to deliver the quality of care our patients deserve.

A lighter, brighter design and more efficient patient flow throughout the building improves the care experience. We now have 33 exam rooms, including new procedure rooms, a larger pharmacy and a more efficient chemotherapy area that will soon have more chairs available than both facilities, combined.

The larger lab on the first floor enables us to do more tests in less time for faster results.

Watch for updates, here on our blog, as the transition of services to our Country Club Road facility continues.
