In addition to in-person care, Willamette Valley Cancer Institute and Research Center now offers telemedicine appointments that allow you to connect with providers and support services from home through a secure online platform on your phone, tablet, or computer.
WVCI will continue to see patients in the office for cancer treatment, evaluations, and new patient consults. However, telemedicine appointments are available when clinically appropriate and not used for emergency care. Your WVCI oncologist will be glad to determine if you need to be seen in person or if a telemedicine appointment is a good option for a particular visit. All telemedicine visits must be conducted in the state(s) where the physician is licensed to practice, therefore you will be asked when you schedule a telemedicine appointment which state you will be in for the appointment.
Need to meet with support staff?
Telemedicine is an excellent, safe way to connect with our Support Services team for education, financial counseling, nutrition counseling, support groups, and more!
For more information, and to find out if your appointment is appropriate for WVCI’s telemedicine capability, please call 541-683-5001 (M-F 8:00 am to 5:00 pm) to speak to a scheduler.
