Thoughtful, helpful and supportive, Erik Cooper strives to be an advocate for patients, meeting them where they are at and by tailoring care to their individual needs.
“A cancer diagnosis is life changing. I like being here for people during this extremely trying time in their life. It’s an honor for me to be a part of this challenging journey.”
Erik helps with patient exams, coordinates testing and treatment, prepares patients for chemotherapy and provides symptom management.
“The physician directs the overall care, choosing the optimal treatment plan. My role is to augment the physician’s by helping patients get through treatment successfully. I offer improved access to care, helping address acute needs as they arise. My goal is to make the patient’s well-being, safety and, most importantly, quality of life the top priority.”
In his spare time, Erik enjoys spending time with wife and young son, often in the outdoors camping and hiking.
