Patient Care Philosophy

Compassionate and attentive, Dr. Emily Dunn believes in individualized care tailored to the needs of the patient.

As a radiation oncologist, Dr. Dunn understands how important it is for patients to feel connected to their oncologist. She fosters that patient-provider relationship by taking the time to get to know them.

“Spending quality time face-to-face with my patients creates a better understanding for them of their diagnosis and treatment, and it gives me insight into their wishes and fears. Being allowed into a person’s life, to care for them during such a challenging time, is a privilege.”

She chose radiation oncology because of its precision in treating cancer and its ever-evolving advancements in technology.

“The dynamically changing field of radiation oncology, the pace at which we’re learning about cancer, and the treatments we’re able to provide patients is exciting.”

Personal Information

Dr. Dunn devotes her free time to her husband and two young boys. She and her family enjoy many outdoor activities, from fishing to hiking and kayaking to snowboarding. Dr. Dunn and her husband are both former collegiate track athletes and love the perks of having TrackTown USA be their home.
