Position: Director of Radiation Services

Since starting her career as a radiation therapist in 1995, to her current position as Director of Radiation Services at Willamette Valley Cancer Institute, Nikki has helped cultivate a culture of continuous change, striving to improve both delivery and quality of patient care.

As Director of Radiation Services, Nikki develops, plans and directs radiation and imaging activities to ensure accomplishment of its radiation and imaging financial and operating objectives.

What has driven Nikki throughout her career in cancer care is the opportunity to support patients when they need it most.

“That may be a warm smile, a comforting hand, or the latest technology and research that improves their quality of life,” she says.

Before becoming Director of Radiation Services, Nikki held various roles as a member of WVCI’s oncology care team, including dosimetrist, lead therapist, Practice Quality Efficiency Administrator and Practice Administrator, where she oversaw all clinical operations and departments, including radiation oncology, medical oncology, gynecologic oncology, research, pharmacy and lab.

Born and raised in Eugene, Nikki is married with two children. A soccer and running enthusiast, she coaches soccer and has participated in four triathlons, a marathon, half-marathons and Hood to Coast, an endurance race benefiting American Cancer Society.
