Patty L. Brisco, ANP-BC

Patient Care Philosophy

A seasoned and compassionate professional, Patty brings over 30 years of experience as a registered nurse, with 15 of those years as a nurse practitioner, to the gynecologic oncology team at Willamette Valley Cancer Institute.

"Providing care for cancer patients is such a gift, to be allowed to walk with them on this journey is wonderful."

After graduating as an RN, Patty worked in pediatrics, intensive care, and dedicated a decade to teaching. Later, she continued to advance her knowledge and skills, becoming board certified as an Adult Nurse Practitioner (ANP-BC) and working for a multi-specialty group. There she gained experience in internal medicine, metabolic disease, neurology, and oncology before eventually pursuing trauma surgery. Then in 2022, when an opportunity to combine her experience in oncology and surgery became available, Patty joined the gynecologic oncology team at WVCI.

With her extensive background, diverse expertise, and comprehensive understanding of healthcare across specialties, Patty is uniquely equipped to provide well-rounded and holistic care to our gynecologic oncology patients.
