Before joining the WVCI community, Wendy worked at a family practice for 10 years in Junction City and Harrisburg. She provides a full array of medical services to cancer patients, including treating hematology and oncology patients, along with chemotherapy patients.

Hunter understands and appreciates that a cancer diagnosis has multiple layers.

"I am aware that treating the individual requires focus on the diagnosis, not only on a physical level, but also a psychic and social level," she says. "As a practitioner, my goal is to provide the patient and their family a place to help them grow, learn and change."

Hunter enjoys being outdoors, running, biking and traveling. She is also the mother of two daughters who are "full of life and curiosity."
